Secretary of State presents award for high quality in service to the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre Bad Ems, Germany, as a certified quality enterprise.

What do Ayurveda guests expect? What is their experience of the services offered and how can these be optimised to fulfil their expectations? These and similar questions are answered by the 50 employees of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre Bad Ems. The facility is acknowledged for offering authentic Ayurvedic treatment since 1992.

During the event "Quality in Rheinland-Pfalz" on 27 April 2006 in Rockenhausen, Germany, the State recognised private clinic was distinguished with this award as a quality enterprise for good service. It thereby belongs to the 175 tourist service businesses in Rheinland-Pfalz which practice their own quality inspection and continuous increase in efficiency. Walter Strutz, Secretary of State in the Ministry for Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Wine Growing of Rheinland-Pfalz, presented the award to Lothar Pirc, the Managing Director and authorised Quality-Coach of the Bad Ems clinic.

The award is issued by the training and certification association “ServiceQualität Rheinland-Pfalz”, a partnership project of the Chamber of Commerce and various tourism organisations. The initiative, promoted by the State of Rheinland-Pfalz, consistently analyses tourism services from the guest perspective. Bad Ems is the first and, so far, the only clinic in the State of Rheinland-Pfalz to have received this award.

Over 15.000 guests have enjoyed the high quality of treatment and top level of service provided by the clinic. The Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre, Bad Ems offers residential and non-residential cleansing treatments of Maharishi Ayurveda for prevention, rejuvenation, revitalisation and cure.
