Lothar
Pirc, born 1955, is married with four children. After qualifying
in business studies, he took part in a work study programme at the
Maharishi European Research University (MERU) in Switzerland. He
was manager of many leading hotels in Arosa and responsible for
the purchase of twenty further hotels.
In
1997/1998 he completed training in France, Germany and Switzerland
as a teacher of Transcendental Meditation. He was in charge of the
Transcendental Meditation Teaching Institute in Darmstadt and also
organised conferences, symposiums and seminars with over 3000 participants
in over 10 countries. In Europe, Asia and Africa he has been in
charge of projects introducing the Vedic Technology of Consciousness
in the areas of administration, education and health. In addition
he has trained seminar leaders in many countries,
Mr.
Pirc spent 7 years from 1983 intensively studying Vedic Science
at Maharishi Vedic University in Vlodrop, Holland. His area of interest
was Maharishi Ayurveda and Vedic Management. This led him to specialise
in the area of business and since that time he has successfully
been involved in programmes for managers and employees.
In
1993, together with his wife Dr. Karin Pirc, he established
the Maharishi Ayurveda Gesundheits- und Seminarzentrum in Bad Ems
GmbH. Dr. Karin Pirc is the Medical Director and Lothar Pirc is
the Managing Director of this state-licensed private clinic which
now has more than 50 employees. More than 10,000 satisfied guests
have visited the Health Centre in the last 10 years. Mr. Pirc is
recognised throughout the world as an expert in his field and has
been engaged as a consultant in establishing many new Maharishi
Ayurveda Clinics.
In
1999 and 2000 he was requested by the Staatsbad Bad Ems GmbH to
take over the management of the Kurhotel Bad Ems until a new owner
could be found.
Since
2001 the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre has specialised in programmes
for personal and corporate development. These are based on the principles
of Maharishi Ayurveda and other aspects of Ayurvedic disciplines.
Mr. Pirc has played a leading role in the conception and realisation
of these company programmes.
