Everyone,
consciously or unconsciously, naturally tries to maintain their
individual balance (the interaction of the three doshas), because
this is the source of happiness, equilibrium, energy and beauty.
The eternal wisdom of Ayurveda is a priceless instrument to keep
the symphony of the doshas in tune. Maharishi Ayurveda Personal
Care products are an excellent way to achieve beauty and radiance.
From
the standpoint of Ayurveda the body is not a fixed structure but
a kind of that is continually changing. Modern science confirms
this. Every second millions of old cells are replaced by new ones.
In one year nearly all the atoms in our body are renewed. The inner
intelligence of our body contains the blueprint for this mechanism
and our consciousness controls the changes. Our body can be compared
to a mirror – the mirror of our consciousness. Outer beauty is the
expression of lively inner beauty. Transcendental Meditation, an
ancient Vedic technique to develop consciousness, is a key to more
inner order and peace. It is easy to learn, simple to integrate
into daily life and extremely effective. Modern research methods
have shown that this practice slows down the ageing process.
A
basic rule of Ayurvedic personal care is the consideration of individual
skin and hair types. Ayurveda recognises three basic principles
(doshas) which function in our mind and body.
Ayurveda
understands the body in terms of three basic principles or 'doshas'
- Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. They underlie all bodily processes. When
they are in their natural state of balance we are healthy, feel
good and we radiate natural beauty. These doshas are lively in every
one of us but they express themselves differently in each individual.
The quality of your hair and skin helps to indicate which products
are best for you. For example use Vata products for dry skin.
Ayurveda
and diet
The quality of our food plays an important
role in Ayurveda since it is the building block of our cells and
tissues. Food should be varied, fresh, natural and easy to digest.
Individual needs and preferences are more important than a strict
adherence to rules.
