Ayurveda Clinic hosted in Cairo
Health Centre presents itself at a trade fair in Egypt – Pirc receives award in India
BAD EMS. The Maharishi Ayurveda Clinic in Bad Ems is becoming widely known, far beyond the borders of Germany. Recently the managing director Lothar Pirc travelled to Egypt to attend a health fair in Cairo. “The General Secretary of the League of Arab Ministers of Education, Dr Salah El-Gafrawi, who has visited us in Bad Ems, invited us to take part.” The Bad Ems clinic printed brochures in Arabic for the health fair – an undertaking that was crowned with success.
“From a large investment company in Cairo we got an offer to open a branch of our Health Centre in the Egyptian capital,” explained Pirc, who gave three television interviews and several newspaper interviews during his stay in Cairo. In addition he received several invitations from other countries, including Dubai, to present the Bad Ems Private Clinic there too.
At the beginning of November, Pirc was honoured with the Global Hakim Ajmal Khan Award, in the Indian capital New Delhi. The award ceremony took place in a grand and solemn setting, in the state ministry building before 250 guests. The Hakim Ajmal Khan Memorial Society, the bestower of this award, was founded in 1989 for the promotion of the ancient and natural health systems of India. The main focus is on Ayurveda, Unani medicine, and homeopathy. The award was presented by Sheila Dixit, prime minister of the State of Delhi.
