Vaidya Kalyan Chakravarthy was born in Hyderabad in 1979.
He was blessed to learn pulse diagnosis from the age of 3 by his grand parents who are known to be traditional ayurvedic vaidyas in South India (Andhra Pradesh) from several generations.
- He is also specialized in creating very effective and individualized treatments using precise knowledge and application procedures of rare and powerful herbal formulations from his traditional background and Dr. Raju’s ayurvedic family tradition.
- He has the knowledge of identification of hundreds of rare herbs and also developed a herbal garden with hundreds of medicinal plants at his native place in India. Along with his father and maternal uncle he conducted several free medical camps, diagnosing through pulse and treating thousands of patients in South India for several years.
University qualifications:
- In the year 2002 he had completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine (BAMS) from the Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College in Tamil Nadu, India.
- In the year 2005 he completed his medical study with the degree of M.D. Herbalist (Dravyaguna) from an esteemed S.D.M. Ayurveda College in Karnataka, India.
Work experience:
- From 2005 – 2008 he was working as Vaidya in Dr. Raju’s Institute of Ayurveda Panchakarma Clinic, Hyderabad, India.
- At the same time he was visiting physician to several Asian countries like Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and organizing Panchakarma Clinics, delivering lectures and giving consultations.
Awards and seminars:
- Secured first place in an Essay Competition held by – All India Ayurvedic Congress in 1998, India
- Secured first place in a Paper Presentation of his research on “The Effect of Indravaruni in Hepatocellular Jaundice” held by the Ayurveda Sastrajna Parishad in 2004, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
- Presented a Poster Paper in the 4th International Seminar organized by the Gujarat Ayurveda University in 2003, Jamnagar, India
- Participated in the 6th International Traditional and Complementary Medicine Conference held 17 – 20 July 2007, Malaysia
- Completed the orientation course on toxicology conducted by the Pappinisseri Vishachikitsa Society in 1998, Kerala, India
- Participated in several pulse diagnosing courses conducted under the guidance of his maternal uncle Dr. Raju in India.
